AFC Liverpool Join ‘On The Ball’ Campaign

AFC Liverpool are extremely proud to announce our official support of the On The Ball Campaign.

Set up by Orlaith, Erin and Mikaela, three Celtic supporters who ran a successful grassroots campaign to introduce free sanitary products at their Club before taking the next step to inspire others to do the same. The list of Clubs backing the campaign continues to grow and everyone at AFC Liverpool is delighted to get involved to do their bit in ending period poverty.

We will begin offering free sanitary products for female supporters from our next home game against St Helen’s Town next weekend. The Club will be responsible for stocking and maintaining supplies so if you see them running low, let us know! Also if any supporters or members wish to contribute any products please pass to stewards, committee members or drop them into the toilets yourself.

Please check out their twitter where you can find links to their interviews with BBC, TalkSport and (to name a few) about their journey so far and for further information on how you can help to eradicate period poverty.
