Dally Adds Three More to Reds Squad

CDWAFC Liverpool manager Kevin Dally added three players to his squad ahead of this Saturday’s opener away at West Didsbury & Chorlton.

Putting pen to paper at a midweek training session were Kevin Cringle, Georgie Donnelly and Matthew Williams.

Williams rejoins the Reds for his third spell, Cringle is a second year apprentice with Tranmere Rovers who recently featured in the pre-season friendly between the two clubs while Donnelly is a striker who has played for the likes of Plymouth Argyle, Stockport County, Fleetwood Town, Macclesfield Town, Rochdale and Tranmere Rovers.

‘Everyone at the club, staff and fans, knows the qualities Matty brings,’ said Dally, ‘and I was really impressed with Kev in the friendly while to get someone like Georgie, with his ability and experience, is a massive boost for the club. These three additions strengthen our squad considerably and there’ll be a lot of competition for places in the team, which can only be a good thing. I can’t wait for the season to get to started.’

AFC Liverpool begin their season with a trip to West Didsbury & Chorlton this Saturday, 6th August, for an FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round tie before opening their league campaign with a home game against Runcorn Linnets on Wednesday 10th.
