Kevin Dally Appointed Manager

AFC Liverpool are proud to announce that First Team Coach, Kevin Dally, will take over the vacant Managers position, initially as Caretaker.

Kevin, who joined the Club in the summer, takes over from Joe Gibbons to become the Clubs fourth manager in its history.

Kevin has a vast wealth of experience, notably at Formby FC, as they took the NWCFL First Division Championship in 2012/13 in what they called their ‘best ever’ season. They also got to the NWCFL League Cup final. In 2013/14, they took league and cup honours for the second season running, winning the First Division Trophy and finishing runners up in the First Division.

Chairman Chris Stirrup said, ‘I think its an excellent appointment for this Club as Kevin has the desire and will to succeed that this Football Club craves. You only need to see him on the touchline to see how enthusiastic he is and if that rubs off on the players and supporters, then we are going to have some exciting times ahead. I can only wish Kevin all the best and ask everyone to give him all the support he needs’.

On his appointment, Kevin said, ‘I cant wait to get started. I hope everyone now gives us support but also a little bit of time, and with that, I know I will get things right here. Im really looking forward to it and Saturday can’t come soon enough’.

Kevin starts his reign on Saturday away to Alsager Town.
