96 HomeIn the Walton & Kirkdale JFL, the Under 9’s lost 0-7 to Olympic Juniors.

In the South Liverpool & District JFL, the Under 11’s went down 1-2 to River Alt with the Reds goal coming from Grant Faure. Manager Darren Davies said, ‘Great game of football played today by Afc and River alt.Well done to both teams for a great game of football. That’s what junior football is all about.’

In the Rainhill & St Helens Junior Alliance, the Saturday Under 15’s continued their fine form with a 9-1 win against Whiston Juniors. The Reds goals came from Tom (2), Sean (2), Liam, Joe, Jacko, Jack and Johny. The result keeps the lads six points off leaders Evolution with two games in hand and the top two meet each other next weekend.

The Under 16’s reached the final of the Craven Minor’s Ken+Les Cup with a 4-1 win against Dynamo Rangers. They will now face Marine for the trophy at Southport’s Haig Avenue on Sunday 4th May with an admission price of £2. Good luck to the lads.

In the Liverpool County Premier League Under 21 Division the Sunday Under 21’s had a 3-2 win against Woolton.

In the North West Women’s Regional League Division One South, AFC Liverpool Ladies finished their league campaign with a 3-3 draw against Macclesfield which saw them finish in sixth place with seven wins and two draws from their eighteen games.
