Reserves in big win away to Cheadle

AFC Liverpool reserves hammered Cheadle away
from home last Saturday, winning 9-0 and it could
easily have been more.

The first goal came after just two minutes,
Jack Sinnott finishing off a
good move after a Steven Jones pass. In the
fifteenth minute an Adam Gilchrist volley made
it 2-0 and Sinnot headed in the third on 37

Jones left foot shot in the 40th minute made it
4-0 and the Reds onslaught continued, with
them hitting the woodwork twice in the five
minutes before half time.

Sinnott completed his hat trick in the 61st
minute then five minutes later Jones converted
a penalty after a handball prevented a certain
goal, for which the Cheadle player was sent
off. A 68th minute own goal made it 7-0 and in
the 77th minute substitute Rob Lamont hit the
eighth from the rebound after his first shot was
parried. A minute later Lamont scored another,
chipping over the keeper in a one on one after
he had committed himself.

Due to a goalkeeping shortage Paul Moore
was forced to put himself between the sticks
and had very little to do except from catch a
few crosses and completely miss his punch for
one of them. He also set up Sinnott from a
brilliant long goal kick, but the midfielder shot
over the bar.
